Gemini Diffusion är en experimentell textdiffusionsmodell utvecklad av Google DeepMind, som representerar ett betydande steg framåt inom språkmodellering. Skillnaden mellan Gemini Diffusion och traditionella modeller, såsom autoregressiva språkmodeller ligger i hur textual content genereras.

Medan dessa traditionella modeller bygger textual content ord för ord, använder Gemini Diffusion en metod där den startar med slumpmässigt ”brus” och successivt förfinar detta until sammanhängande textual content eller kod.
